Description
In the Matosinhos skyline it is easily identified a volume formed by about 40 silos with more than 60 meters of height that stands out in the landscape of the Leixões Port. These monumental structures, already 40 years old, are a representative element of the port and industry culture that characterizes the region’s landscape and that is profoundly rooted in the seaside urban scenery. To visit its interior is a unique experience, close to a scale of religious representation – like basilicas – due to the interior nave with a roof indented by cellular and intercellular voids and the filtered natural light.
